Data deletion
How to disconnect services and request deletion or restriction of MerhabaOne data. This page also serves as a public deletion instruction (for example for app reviews). It is not an automatic callback endpoint to Meta or other providers.
1. Disconnect external services in the app
In MerhabaOne, open the relevant source connection (for example WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook Page, Instagram Professional, where enabled).
Use disconnect. Related MerhabaOne connection data is removed as designed. For Meta connections, tokens are revoked or deleted to the extent the disconnect path implements.
You may also revoke access in Meta, Telegram, or other provider settings.
2. Push and devices
Disable push permissions in the OS and app.
Signing out deactivates push registration for the device as designed.
3. Submit a deletion or access request
Email datenschutz@merhabaone.com. Include your MerhabaOne account email or another unique identifier and describe your request (erasure, access, restriction, objection).
We may ask follow-up questions to verify identity (for example confirmation via the account email). Without sufficient identification we may refuse or only partially process the request.
We normally handle requests within one month (Art. 12(3) GDPR). Complex requests may take up to two further months; we will inform you.
Fully automatic self-service account deletion is not currently implemented. Handling is manual after review.
4. What MerhabaOne can delete — and what it cannot
On request, account, connection, and related data stored in MerhabaOne may be deleted or anonymized unless legal retention applies.
Messages and accounts at WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook, or Instagram follow those providers’ deletion options. Disconnecting or deleting MerhabaOne data does not automatically delete your entire third-party account or all content there.
For Meta/Instagram relay data we review on disconnect and on request which records remain and can be removed.
